JobITechs is free to sign up, post a project, receive bids from freelancers, review the freelancer’s profile and discuss the project requirements. If you choose to award the project, we charge you a small project fee (4%) relative to the value of the selected bid, as an introduction fee.
The cost and how this fee is charged for fixed price projects, a fee of 4% or $3.00 USD (whichever is greater) is levied at the time a project has been awarded by you. If you subsequently pay the freelancer more than the original bid amount we will also charge the project fee on any overage payments.
For hourly projects, a fee of 4% is levied on each payment that you make to the freelancer. You may cancel the project from your dashboard at any time for up to seven (7) days after the project has been accepted for a refund of your fee. Optional upgrades to your project can also be purchased.
At the time of ordering a service or completing a milestone / project, employers must provide funds equivalent to the total service / milestone / project price. The payment is protected by JobITechs’s payment system. Only release the payment once you are satisfied with the work that has been delivered.
For all kinds of funds held by JobITechs, we release the amounts paid within 7-14 days to the earner, during the 14 days period the employer can raise complains against the freelancer if the employer somehow had been a victim of fraud or manipulation. refund is subjected to JobITechs’s legal team which will be communicating with both parties to resolve the issue / dispute. a fee of 5% including the transaction fees will be charged in the event of refund due to complains or disputes.

Projects
For fixed price projects, if you are awarded a project, and you accept, we charge you a small project fee relative to the value of the selected bid, as an introduction fee. If you are subsequently paid more than the original bid amount, we will also charge the project fee on any overage payments.
For hourly projects, the fee is levied on each payment as it is made by the employer to you.
The fee for fixed price projects is 10% or $5.00 USD, whichever is greater, and 10% for hourly projects.
Services
If you are subsequently hired to perform that Service, a 12% fee of the total service price is charged. This is charged when the service is ordered by way of a deduction from the payment you receive.
Refunds as Bonus Credited to your wallet
In some instances, refund of fees or awards may be done as bonus credit to your wallet. This bonus may only be used on site, and can not be withdrawn or transferred. The bonus will expire in 60 days from the date of receipt.
However, the wallet holder may approach JobITechs’s team in order to transfer the funds / bonuses from his wallet to his PayPal or bank account whichever is applicable.
Membership Plans (excluded till 7-july-2023)
You may select from a range of paid memberships. You can work on the site as either an employer or freelancer as a free member, or gain additional benefits as a paid member by subscribing to a paid plan.
Memberships will reoccur on either a monthly or annual basis on the anniversary of your subscription, unless cancelled. If funds are insufficient we will try to renew your membership for up to 10 days, until funds are made available.
You may cancel your membership at anytime.
Referral Program By JobITechs
JobITechs is happy to announce its special referral program offers. To encourage the users of our platform, we are committed to waive project fees for 15 freelancers who refer new active employers that do not have an existing account on our platform. for all future projects performed within two weeks by the referring freelancer for the referred employer once the first project by the new employer is posted.
Transaction Fees
JobITechs would like to bring to your attention the transaction fees for using Credit Cards, PayPal or other payment methods offered by the platform. fees of $0.30 USD + 3% will be applied to all transactions. ( unless JobITechs states otherwise in the form of a promotion or a special discount to encourage the users of the platform).
* These rates are applied by third parties (not the platform), and may change at anytime. JobITechs will raise or lower the rates only if the third parties revise their rates.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is a consumption tax assessed on JobITechs digital services. Please be noted that the sales tax doesn’t apply to your contracts value. Sales tax is traditionally assessed on goods and services, and applied at the point of sale. Below products and services currently impacted by sales tax:
- Employers membership fees.
- Freelancers membership fees.
- Payment processing fees.
Sales tax is applied at the time of purchase. You will see it listed as an exclusive line item on invoices and transactions.
Where do I see sales tax charges on my invoice?
When sales tax is charged, it will appear as a separate line on the invoice or receipt that is generated for the transaction. Additionally, the tax charged will appear as an individual line labeled as sales tax.
Note: JobITechs is not authorized and cannot advise you regarding any type of taxes which should be paid by your end and will not file or pay any form of taxes on your behalf, this is subject to the country the individual is residing in or the account he’s receiving the funds in. We advice our clients to read and understand the taxation laws by the authorities where they are receiving the funds or reside in.
